Experience a “day-in-the-life” of an early 17th-century farm! You`ll work alongside Plimoth Patuxet Museums’ master gardener, Dr. Fred Dunford, and other volunteers to plant a 1/2 acre corn field in the 17th-century English Village. Along the way, you`ll learn more about how the Pilgrims incorporated traditional Wampanoag gardening and adapted centuries-old English agricultural practices to suit their new environment.
Pre-registration is required. Deadline to register is May 12. Youth volunteers must be 13 years or older to participate and be accompanied by an adult.
